btw: In French spacing prior to punctuation marks is required, but in the English language it usually highlights someone as having little or no intelligence. You should punctuate in the language that you are writing. (I don't get to say/write "punctuate" enough.)

Are you SERIOUS!?! Our "intelligence" agencies do precisely THAT with great regularity...we often pay for information that is old hat, spend massive amts on info of little use, and in general, just try to keep everyone employed doing something, independent of "actionable intelligence" outcomes.
It's THE American way!
Now, that said, we've pulled off some decent cladestine activities...it's just that I wouldn't imagine "fiscal efficiency" is one of our hallmarks.

You know about "offshores paradises " ?These places the rich hide their money to not pay their taxes ? Goverments pretend to fight these rip offs but in reality they cover up these thiefs !The rich want all the advantages of crooked cops and warped judges to harass little people and protect the rich club 's properties , but on top of it they don't even want to pay taxes for their cops and laws ! Guess you missed the announcement last week where USB (formerly the Bank of Switzerland) agreed to release the names of 4250 (of 52000) randomly generated US account holders to the Justice Department and IRS for the purpose of tracking down illegal tax evaders with offshore accounts.
DOJ and IRS have announced amnesty for any account holder who discloses their account(s) and subjects themselves to future tax filings. Those who don't and get caught, STFB.
So do you roll the dice and hope that you aren't one of the 4250 account holders disclosed? Or do you fess up and start paying taxes?
Not that it's going to matter when China and Japan stop underwriting ouor National debt with T bill purchases and the dollar goes to zero..........

Mandojammer : If I was rich I would have the decency to buy me a island ,turn down any US passport ,and invite all nice deadheads for early retirement plans ,set a land trust for them and their kids ,and pay the Dead a million dollars a year just to have them show up whenever they want to play us some tunes ,all expenses paid , plus privatate charter to fill as suits them !!!

Its not about money - the way of life you describe sounds like hell! Without a base in reality (however tenuous at times) life would be unbearable - i like meeting different people, putting in a bit of work, and having a bit of inconveniance or hardship - it makes the times we spend with our friends and our family and in our favourite places listening to the Grateful Dead, or whoever, with good food and drink all the more pleasurable.
I doubt any deadheads idea of paradise is a tropical island personally i'd prefer somewhere in san francisco or colorado, or my beloved Surrey. And my kids are gonna work hard for what they want too.

The only reason I was thinking about an island was to have independance rights without rotten goverments hassles .But you said it there is no point to ever want that even with deadheads . I already found out there was no future for me ,with deadheads who never cared that much anyway !
